And eight for Freddie Slater! Crowned this Saturday after winning Race 1 ahead of Frenchman Evan Giltaire (ART GP), the Prema driver managed to achieve his second perfect weekend of the FRECA season. A few months after his two consecutive victories at Le Castellet, the Briton achieved the Grand Slam by winning the second race of this finale at Monza, allowing him to add 25 points to his total. With 313 points acquired in the end, the champion surpasses the performance achieved by Rafael Câmara last year, credited with 309 points after the ten rounds of the year 2024.

Ultra-dominant, Freddie Slater symbolically saw his runner-up in the championship and future teammate in Formula 3 – Matteo De Palo, climbed to second place in this last race of the year. Although he had no opportunity to overtake the leader, the Trident rider made no mistakes, as did Evan Giltaire just behind him, having made a decisive overtake early in the race to then maintain his place on the podium. After a second place this Saturday, the Tricolore ended his year well, having experienced some more difficult months during the season in particular.

Nakamura and Clerot as animators, Deligny unlucky at Monza

Marked by the intervention of two safety cars, this last race of the FRECA season was intended to be calmer than the previous day, although it ended behind theAlpine A110, on the occasion of the very last occurrence highlighting Alpine in this championship. In this case, Jin Nakamura (R-ace GP) and Pedro Clerot (VAR) fought a fierce battle for 6th and 7th place, while many wanted to take advantage of the situation around the two protagonists.

Further back in the pack, Frenchman Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP), who has been so fast in recent races, was unable to pull off a surprise at Monza. This Sunday, he was forced to avoid an accident after the first-turn chicane, ending his race in the gravel trap alongside Hiyu Yamakoshi (VAR). Despite finishing third overall, the future Prema F3 driver saw his compatriots Evan Giltaire and Taito Kato finish the year in 5th and 6th place, thanks to their 3rd and 4th places in Race 2.
