The Macau Grand Prix, taking place over the weekend of November 13-16, will feature two single-seater categories. Typically, the Formula Regional World Cup provides experience and exposure to the best drivers from different continents in the category, but the 2025 edition will also mark the introduction of the first F4 World Cup.
On the French side, Théophile Naël and Enzo Deligny, both announced on the grid of Formula 3 in 2026, will be on the grid of the Regional Formula category. Respectively entered with Pinnacle Motorsport and R-ace GP, the two French drivers will not be the only representatives of France, since Evan Giltaire and Taito Kato will also be part of the race with ART Grand Prix. While for Naël, having recently joined Campos for the next F3 season, experience could speak for itself, he will have to face other drivers on the grid such as Mari Boya (Pinnacle Motorsport), Noah Stromsted (Trident), or Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (Trident).
Representing FRECA in 2025, Enzo Deligny – still mathematically in the fight for the title – will join forces with the two European leaders, Freddie Slater (Prema) and Matteo De Palo (R-ace GP). Another serious contender on this grid is Mattia Colnaghi (PHM Racing), who will be making his debut in F3 next year as the new champion of the Eurocup-3, a championship competing with FRECA.

F4 in the spotlight for the first time in Macau
While 30 Regional Formula drivers will be taking the start of the Macau Grand Prix, 20 F4 drivers from around the world will compete on the Guia circuit for the first time. Once again, several French representatives will be present. Alexandre Munoz, the recent French F4 champion, will be joined by Jules Roussel – third this year – and Rayan Caretti, fourth overall. Also of note is the presence of Japanese driver Rintaro Sato, son of driver Takuma Sato, also present on the FFSA F4 grid this season. Ninth in the championship, the Japanese driver notably won Race 3 at Lédenon, before climbing onto the podium again at Le Mans, during the final.
In terms of format, similar to the GT series, drivers will compete in a 10-lap qualifying race, while a 15-lap main race will conclude the Formula Regional event. Two practice sessions and two qualifying sessions will precede these races. The principle for F4 will be similar, with the first race lasting 8 laps and the second lasting 10 laps.
Tatuus chassis equipped with engines Alfa Romeo will equip the drivers who are candidates or already acquired for Formula 3, where the F4s used will be Mygale, equipped with engines Alpine-Renault.
