Here it is again Logan sargeant ! Ousted from Williams last August, after the Dutch Grand Prix, the American will return to business on the other side of the Atlantic, in his native country. First revealed by our colleagues at Racer, the Meyer Shank Racing team has confirmed the information that the former driver of Formula 1 will be on board one of their single-seaters on November 19, on the Thermal Club circuit (California) for a day of private tests.

Logan Sargeant, 23 years old and 37 Grands Prix in Formula 1, had already been seen in the paddock of theIndyCar at the final round in Nashville earlier in September. Since the premature end of his adventure in the premier class, the Sargeant clan has contacted numerous IndyCar teams in order to obtain a test, for a fee. A request to which MSR responded favorably after a meeting with the American driver in the "Music City".
However, this private test does not mean that Logan Sargeant will drive in IndyCar in 2025, quite the contrary. It will primarily serve to observe the American's skills at the wheel of the Dallara-Honda in order to attract teams whose drivers have not yet been confirmed. For 2025, neither MSR nor Chip Ganassi Racing (who has established a technical partnership with MSR) has no seats available, since Felix Rosenqvist and Marcus Armstrong have already been confirmed at Meyer Shank Racing. Once linked to PREMA for the American team's debut, Logan Sargeant would no longer be at the top of the list of contenders today.
