An announcement that is far from a surprise: as expected, Juncos Hollinger Racing will trust Conor Daly to finish the 2024 season in the No. 78 Dallara-Chevrolet to replace Agustín Canapino. An expected announcement because the American had driven the Argentinian's car during tests conducted at the beginning of August near Gateway. The “supersub” of theindyCar will therefore compete in the last five races of the championship, four of which are on ovals.
Juncos Hollinger Racing confirms that Conor Daly will drive the No. 78 Chevrolet starting at St. Louis and for the remainder of the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Welcome, Conor!

“I am extremely happy to reunite with Ricardo Juncos after the success we experienced together in the Road To Indy, rejoices Conor Daly. Ricardo gave me a chance when I was young and it made a huge difference in my career. There are a lot of people on this team that I've worked with before and that gives me a lot of confidence. What Brad Hollinger and Ricardo have built here is extremely impressive in a short amount of time and I consider myself very fortunate to be able to compete until the end of the season and earn the points needed for this #78 Chevrolet. There are many partners in this effort and I appreciate the support for getting back into the racing seat. »
