Grosjean after his oval test: “I couldn’t even walk straight anymore”
Romain Grosjean will remember this July 27. At 35, he took on a new challenge in his rich career by launching himself on ovals. At Gateway Motorsports Park, the driver of the No. 51 Dale Coyne Racing completed 166 laps on a 2,01-kilometer egg-shaped layout, and experienced the vertigo, literally and figuratively, of turning on these infernal rings.
