How are you after such a hectic month?

Honestly, it’s going well! I'm very happy to be here. For the moment, everything is going relatively well, I am slowly adapting to life.

How did the first discussions come about with McLaren ?

It all started when they called me to ask me to replace David Malukas (injured wrist. Editor’s note) for the Long Beach race. Barber's coming immediately behind, they quickly confirmed to me that I will also do this round. They were very happy with my performances, with my way of acting, with my desire to improve... They wanted to take me on for the rest of the season, because there was also great uncertainty in relation to David Malukas and his injury, and I immediately accepted. This is an incredible opportunity, the best of my career.
