After the first two races of the year, Alexandre Munoz has quickly established a form of dominance over the FFSA F4 championship in 2025. While six first races have already been contested on the Nogaro and Dijon-Prenois circuits, the Gers native has managed to achieve the exact same two weekends in terms of results. Twice first, then once fourth (thanks to the reverse grid rule), he is undoubtedly the big favorite at this stage.
In total, two have won so far. Of the thirty drivers in the field, only Arthur Dorison, fourth in the championship, has collected the two remaining victories in the two races that leader Munoz failed to win. For his part, Jules Roussel, second after two weekends, shines above all through his consistency, having already collected four second-place finishes and one top-5 finish.
Munoz about to lock down his place?
On a circuit that is still very different from the venue for the first two events of the season, Alexandre Munoz faces a challenge as complex as it is interesting in his driver training. Indeed, on a track much longer than those of Nogaro and Dijon-Prenois, but also much more complete in terms of topography, traps, and technical specificities, the drivers will certainly be judged more than ever on their ability to adapt to the only event scheduled outside of France.
So far, Alexandre Munoz has proven himself capable of excelling in both wet and dry conditions, and is unfazed by his ability to qualify well before racing. At Spa, the F4 cars will be put to the test, along with the championship leader. While Andy Consini, for example, was the first polesitter of the season, proving to be the smartest in terms of track developments in qualifying, could a surprise reshuffle the cards this weekend, unless Munoz's dominance becomes definitive? 17th in the general classification last year, and winner of his only race at Le Castellet at the final meeting of the year, the young man to beat has clearly made significant progress as the season approaches its midpoint.
