Dijon – Race 2: Thibaut Ramaekers wins, Ginevra Panzeri again in the top 10

Thibaut Ramaekers capitalized on his tire advantage and a thrilling battle with Jack Iliffe to win Race 2 at Dijon, ahead of the Briton and Jules Avril. Guillaume Bouzar, forced to start from tenth place due to the reversed grid for the top 10, finished sixth after a cautious recovery drive.

The second French F4 race at Dijon was one of the calmest so far, with no safety car intervention. At the start, Jack Iliffe made the best launch from fourth position and immediately took second place. Oscar Goudchaux, who started from pole position with the reverse grid, held on for a few laps before being overtaken by the American in the first corner, who took the outside line while the Frenchman tried to protect the inside.

Thibaut Ramaekers quickly took the lead over Ginevra Panzeri, who started second thanks to the reversed grid, then overtook pole-sitter Oscar Goudchaux, before closing in on the leader. Within a few laps, the Belgian – who, like Ginevra Panzeri and Jules Avril, was on new tires – overtook Jack Iliffe and extended his lead: nine-tenths of a second on the first lap, 1,5 seconds on the second. The victory was never in doubt.

Behind them, numerous battles enlivened the second race. Hugo Herrouin took fifth place from Tom Dussol, before the latter pitted and retired seven minutes from the finish. Guillaume Bouzar, who started tenth, steadily climbed the field without taking any risks, ultimately reaching sixth, but couldn't achieve a better result. The race also had its share of incidents: Kyler Cheezum retired after losing front wing components, Autumn Fisher pitted after contact with Héloïse Goldberg—who herself spun at turn 6 without consequence—and finished two laps down. Clara Stiebleichinger suffered a right rear tire puncture on the finish line.

Jade Jacquet and Shane Chandaria each received a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits, among a significant number of warnings issued throughout the race. Thibaut Ramaekers ultimately won by 4,1 seconds over Jack Iliffe and Jules Avril, with the top six separated by just 8,9 seconds. In the women's race, Ginevra Panzeri secured another class victory, finishing seventh overall, ahead of Lisa Billard in 16th and Jade Jacquet in 19th despite her penalty.
