Lisa Billard and Jade Jacquet make their return to F4 France at Nogaro

Between two rounds of F1 Academy, Lisa Billard and Jade Jacquet will participate in the Easter Cups.

Among the 32 single-seaters expected on the F4 grid for the Easter Cups at Nogaro, two cars will attract particular attention: those of Lisa Billard and Jade Jacquet. Taking advantage of a break in the calendar of the F1 Academy, whose next round will not take place until May 22-24 in Canada, the two Frenchwomen are taking a strategic opportunity to accumulate track time.

The women's contingent has reached a historic milestone this season with ten drivers entered for the F4 season opener, compared to six last year. This growth coincides with the FFSA Academy's launch of the French Women's F4 Championship. In the previous season, Lisa Billard and Jade Jacquet finished first and second respectively in this prestigious championship.

At Nogaro, they return to a track they know well, having launched their F4 2025 season there. Lisa Billard finished 26th, 17th, and 19th, while Jade Jacquet impressed with 22nd, 19th, and a promising 12th place in the last race. During recent tests at the end of February on this same circuit, Jade Jacquet set the third fastest time on the first day, a feat matched by Lisa Billard, who also achieved the third fastest time on the final day.

After the first round of the F1 Academy held in China, Lisa Billard sits in eighth place after scoring seven points in the first event, while Jade Jacquet, who made a mistake, is sixteenth. Taking advantage of valuable track time, the two young drivers will be able to get back into the swing of things before returning to the wheel of their Tatuus F4-T421 in the F1 Academy.

« The starts are very different from F4 in France. wrote Lisa Billard in a column on AUTOhebdo. This is another technique I'll have to get used to. I didn't have the chance to ride this winter, so I wasn't able to train on this aspect beforehand."

The Normandy native will therefore be able to work on her starts, while Jade Jacquet will focus on her braking, which hampered her in Shanghai. It should be noted that the representative of Williams on the grid will nevertheless have to serve a penalty of five positions on the starting grid in Montreal.
