- How strange it was, but the 2024 French F4 champion is Yani Stevenheydens. Starting second this Sunday in Race 3 at Paul-Ricard, the Belgian, third at the finish, took advantage of the misfortunes of his rival Taito Kato to clinch the crown.
- Having moved back into the lead of the championship after provisionally recovering his victory in Race 1, the Japanese, like many of his teammates, was caught up in the incidents of this Race 3. On a wet track, Taito Kato had a collision with Dylan Estre and fell down the rankings, falling to the back of the Top 10. A godsend for Yani Stevenheydens who then rode more calmly.
- With a 4-point deficit before the start of Race 3, the Belgian repeater was able to erase his rival's lead thanks to a 3rd place while the Japanese finished 10th. With a 14-point gap between the two (15 to 1), Yani Stevenheydens thus took back control of the championship to succeed Evan Giltaire in the F4 France rankings.
- At the front of the pack, this Race 3 was marked by the mistakes of some like Gabriel Doyle-Parfait who cut corners twice and gained an advantage over his rivals without ever giving up positions. Finally caught by the patrol and penalized 5 seconds, he lost his victory, which went to Dylan Estre. However, Kevin's brother is not yet assured of keeping it since he is under investigation for his collision with Taito Kato.
- The stewards will now analyse everything and give their verdict in a few hours while the final result of Race 1 which took place on Saturday morning is still awaited.
