In the final moments of the session, Jules Roussel decided to deny Alexandre Munoz any form of hegemony this weekend. The young French driver climbed to the top of the timesheets after his final attempt, setting a benchmark time of 2:22.631. Second on the grid in Belgium, Alexandre Munoz was nevertheless coming off a near-perfect weekend at Dijon-Prenois. Winner of four of the first six races, regardless of the conditions, the driver who was already in the discipline last year will be keen to put up a strong fight against his rival. His personal best time was set less than a second behind that of the pole-sitter.

Behind the two leaders, the second row will not welcome any French riders, as Rintaro Sato and Montego Maasen took the 3rd and 4th best times of the session. On the other hand, while Louis Iglesias and Arthur Dorison managed to validate their place in the top 10, Rafaël Pérard, currently 3rd in the championship, was unable to achieve better than the 14th time of the day. He finished just ahead of the first woman in this ranking, current leader of the category, Lisa Billard, 15th in 2:23.578.

It's worth noting that Guillaume Bouzar, who finished 10th in the session and hasn't yet been on the podium this year, will have the opportunity to start from pole position and secure what would be his best result of the season if the race scenario is well managed for him. Race 1, the first of three stages at this Belgian meeting, will see the start at 11 a.m.
