29 years ago, Olivier Panis won the Monaco GP

It was said, written, promised. Monaco was only going to see red. But the blue won. Defeated the two Williams, the two Ferraris and the two Benettons! The Renault engine betrayed Damon Hill who expected everything from this event. A Japanese engine made our Panis a hero! And from Ligier a team more French than ever.

Olivier Panis is not Schumacher, but they have a common habit. Perhaps a reflex. Before raising their arms out of the cockpit and waving to the public, or more simply showing their joy, they give each other a few good punches on the helmet! Just to wake each other up, to come out of a possibly deceptive dream. But no, Olivier was definitely in reality. He had indeed just crossed that line

A crazy race, as is often the case in Monaco, so many memories, congratulations again to Panis and Ligier. Maybe this weekend another crazy race, with two mandatory stops, which is a very good solution, for GP. We'll see... 😎🍾
