Present at the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique, André Lotterer relishes the opportunity to return to the track with a Formula 1 car. The three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans also talks about his return to La Sarthe in LMP2 and the gradual evolution of the Genesis project.

André, you're driving the 308 Hesketh 1975, which you just set the second fastest time in qualifying. The weekend's off to a great start! 

Very well. It's a huge pleasure to be here, already, to be invited into this legendary and prestigious car, which has a name, a story that is obviously well-known, having won with James Hunt in 1975 at Zandvoort. Being able to get into this car is something extraordinary and a great privilege.

So I'm very, very happy. I didn't expect all these people, even for a Friday. It's the first time I've participated in a historic Grand Prix. The enthusiasm is

James Shunt's 308 Hesketh 1975, a completely different era when the bucket steering wheel interface mattered much more than today and had to resort to its co... to overtake without the artifice of DRS!
