After a two-year break, one of the biggest historic racing events in the world has announced its big return for the summer of 2025. The Le Mans Classic will take place from July 3 to 6, 2025, on the grand circuit of 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Patrick Peter, Founder and Director of peter car : “We are pleased to be able to announce the 12rd edition of an event which continues to grow and which allows us to showcase all the richness of the world's automotive heritage. We are proud that the latest edition of the Le Mans Classic, created in 2002 with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, has become in 2023 the largest gathering of classic automobiles in the world. Indeed, 235 visitors came to admire nearly 000 racing cars, more than 800 club and collector cars as well as hundreds of exhibitors and events. The Le Mans Classic is truly an invitation to enter the world of motor racing and to relive its history while looking towards the future. Like the 8 Hours of Le Mans which have always promoted new technologies (000% renewable fuel, hybrid engine and now hydrogen for 24), it was at the Le Mans Classic that in 100 a synthetic fuel was used. used for the first time in historical competition. For the record, two of these cars found themselves on the podium… An experience which was expanded in 2027 and which opens the door to a “clean” competition.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal partners who respond every time. We look forward to meeting all enthusiasts and amateurs in July 2025 to discover an edition which, as usual, will have many surprises in store.. »

Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest : “The Le Mans Classic is an unmissable event on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. After a historic edition in 2023, we look forward to seeing these legendary cars again in July 2025. I thank Patrick Peter and all of his teams for our wonderful collaboration, which today allows this event to shine throughout the world. and to celebrate the great and rich history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. »
