Porsche don't celebrate your 75the birthday on the track only. After running the three official 963s with a special livery for the Centenary of 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Stuttgart manufacturer has teamed up with Xbox to export its celebration outside the circuits.
Thus, the American brand, owned by the giant Microsoft, will offer a series of six Series X, its flagship console, decorated with liveries that have marked the history of Porsche in addition to the controllers.
Here are the 6 historic Porsche liveries that Xbox has recreated on its Series X:
- Porsche 911 GT1 victorious at the 24 1998 Hours of Le Mans
- Porsche Hippie that we found on the 917 with dark blue and bright green
- Porsche Pink Pig which could be distinguished by its pink color but also by its “butchery” patterns
- Porsche Salzburg, the livery with which the manufacturer achieved its first overall victory at Le Mans in 1970 with the 917 K
- Porsche Racing Edition, livery in “Martini” colors
- Porsche 75th, the livery used at the 24 2023 Hours of Le Mans
« Xbox and its fans are no stranger to Porsche and the incredible capabilities of its high-performance vehicles in our racing and driving games like Forza Horizon 5, welcomes Marcos Waltenberg, Director of Global Partnerships at Xbox. That's why we're excited to team up with the famous sports car brand to create a special edition of our Xbox gear that celebrates this milestone"
Note that while waiting for it to go on sale within four months, fans can register for a competition to try to win one of the editions as well as a controller.
