Nacon and KT Racing announce the extension of the WRC games until 2022
WRC 9 will be released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 6, 2020 with new historic cars and new rallies. The official WRC video game will be released every year until at least 2022.
Fans of the World Rally Championship (WRC) will be happy. The official video game of the competition, developed by the French studio KT Racing (Kylotonn), will be entitled to a 2020 version, available from September 3.
Like happiness that never comes alone, KT Racing and Nacon have also kept the WRC license to produce an annual video game until 2022!

Regarding WRC 9, we take the winning recipe from WRC 8 and improve it. All crews, cars and rallies on the 2020 calendar will be modeled. Three destinations are thus appearing: Japan, Kenya Safari and New Zealand. Two other tests will see their environments “completely reworked”.
The career mode, one of the great assets of WRC 8, with its management side, will be enriched, with “new possibilities to advance your team, even more diversified events and a stronger link with what the championship teams experience throughout the year. »
Car physics are also reworked : suspensions, braking, mass management, for greater realism. Finally, the icing on the cake, gamers will be able to (re)discover the driving of former World Cup glories with over 15 bonus vehicles, even more than in 2019.
WRC 9 will be released as usual on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 3, and a little later on Nintendo Switch. The game is finally already currently in development for next-gen consoles, i.e. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. We can't wait to find out more!
