24 Hours of Le Mans 2025: Update on invitations

As the start of the 2025 World Championship season looms,Endurance with the 1812 km of Qatar (February 28), here is an update on the invitations for the next 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14-15). A total of 11 were distributed to drivers and teams who must meet certain conditions.

On the other side of the Atlantic, the final round of the 2024 campaign of theIMSA in October, allowed us to know the first three lucky winners: Porsche Penske Motorsport, IMSA champion team in the GTP category, Nick Boulle (Inter Europol by PR1/Mathiasen), winner of the Jim Trueman Award (for drivers who have built a career outside of racing), and Orey Fidani (AWA Racing – Corvette), winner of the Bob Akin Award (for the best Bronze driver in GT competing under the same parameters as those of drivers eligible for the Jim Trueman Award).

The European Le Mans Series awarded five more while the GT World Challenge Europe, whose finale took place last November in Saudi Arabia, rewarded Sky Tempesta Racing, winner of the Bronze Cup.

The last two invitations were distributed this Sunday, February 16, at the end of the 2024-2025 season of the Asian Le Mans Series. Algarve Pro Racing secured the last ticket in LM P2 by winning the title, while the Manthey team secured a new ticket for the GT3 category by being crowned in GT.

  • LM P2 : AF Corsica, champion team of the LM P2 Pro-Am category of the European Le Mans Series 2024
  • LM P2 : RLR MSport, champion team in the LM P3 category of the 2024 European Le Mans Series
  • LM P2: Algarve ProRacing, champion team of the Asian Le Mans Series 2024-2025
  • LMGT3 : Orey Fidani (AWA Racing – Corvette), winner of the Bob Akin Award
  • LMGT3 : Iron Lynx, champion team of the LMGT3 category of the 2024 European Le Mans Series
  • LMGT3 : Sky Tempesta Racing, winner of the Bronze Cup in GT World Challenge Europe
  • LMGT3 : Manthey, champion team of the GT category of the Asian Le Mans Series 2024-2025
