The 24 Hours of Le Mans qualifying sessions begin this Wednesday, June 10th at 18:45 PM! After the LMGT3 and LMP2 cars, it will be the Hypercars' turn to take to the track.

9′ – The three Ferraris are fitted with new soft tires and the Peugeots are fitted with new medium tires.

11′ – There are less than three tenths (+0.299s) between Tom Gamble, in first place, and Sébastien BourdaisNinth. On a lap of more than 13 km, that's pretty crazy! 

13'30 – Both Genesis cars are fitted with new sets of soft tires for the end of the session. The #17 is 12th and the #19 is 16th and the first to be eliminated.

14'30 – The Alpine Car #36 climbs back up to 13th position and virtually qualifies. The same goes for Peugeot #93, which is 14th. However, Ferrari #83, the defending champion, is second to last…

17′ – 4′ – 🇫🇷 Things aren't looking very good for French manufacturers at the moment… We virtually have theAlpine No. 36 and the two Peugeots eliminated. 

18'20 – And it's a one-two finish for Aston Martin! Alex Riberas takes second place! There are 12 cars within one second!

19'30 – Beautiful tour of Mike conway at the wheel of car #7. Third fastest time for the Toyota.

🏁 IT'S OVER FOR LMP2 AND LMGT3! Doriane Pin sets the fastest time in LMP2, while Peter Dempsey gives the #34 Corvette the benchmark time in LMGT3. 

0′ – This is not going to work for Ben Keating's No. 33 Corvette! The 3rd place finishers of 2025 are out of the running.

2′ – Not easy for the Porsche No. 92 in LMGT3! The two-time defending champion is 15th and the last provisional qualifier…

4′ – 🇫🇷 It's complicated for Lilou Wadoux's crew: her teammate Bronze Custodio Toledo is only 20th… For the other Frenchwoman, Doriane Pin, everything is going well: she still has the best time in LMP2.

5′ – And that's a boost for the Heart of Racing Aston Martins in LMGT3, who are now in the top 6? That should be enough to qualify.

8'30 – Louis Rousset brings Forestier Racing by Panis back up to third place in LMP2. A great performance from the Frenchman, who is driving alongside Oliver Gray and Esteban Masson.

10′ – Slight disappointment at McLaren For the moment in LMGT3: the two crews are 21st and 22nd and provisionally eliminated… Not much better at Ferrari: three of the 296 GT3 EVO are provisionally eliminated, another is 15th and last qualified, while the No. 74 still occupies second place.

12'10 – ⏱️In LMP2, Doriane Pin responded and set the fastest time. Well done to the Frenchwoman, who gained confidence. 

14′ – ⏱️In LMGT3, the #34 Corvette of TF Sport takes the lead in LMGT3 ahead of the #74 Ferrari of Dustin Blattner and the #87 Lexus of Petru Umbrarescu. 

15'50 – Duqueine loses the LMP2 lead to the #37 CLX Motorsport car. Ina Aguilera is driving for the Swiss team. The provisional standings:

17′ – ⏱️Doriane Pin lights up in purple! Best time for the champion of F1 Academy in LMP2. She is 0.428s faster than the #26 Vector Sport car. 

18'50 – 💥 Small contact between the #2 TF Sport in LMGT3 and the #9 Proton in LMP2! Everyone stays on track. 

20'00 – ⏱️In LMGT3, Dustin Blattner puts the #74 Kessel Racing Ferrari in the lead.

22'40 – ⏱️In LMP2, Paul Lafargue crossed the finish line with the fastest time for IDEC Sport in the #28. George Kurtz finished second in the #4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR. 

24'45 – 🌨️ It's grey here, the sky is heavy, and the air is cool. No rain yet, but the tires are bound to be very cold. Be careful not to get caught out!

27'30 – 📻 Custodio Toledo, Lilou Wadoux's teammate on the Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO #150, which we expect to have five attack turns.

29'00 – And we can confirm that it's off to a good start; the engines are roaring under the windows of the press room here at Le Mans, and the drivers are taking to the track one after another. As a reminder, LMP2 and LMGT3 are competing together in these 30 minutes.

18:41 p.m. – 🇫🇷​ On the French side, there's reason for optimism in LMP2: Doriane Pin set the fastest time in practice at the wheel of the #30 Duqueine, ahead of… Kévin Estre in the #14 TDS Racing. And third place? It went to IDEC Sport with their #29! Hooray for France!

18:35 PM – How do the Qualifications work? The first crucial moment of the week is establishing the starting grid for the 24 Hours of Le MansIn Hypercar, 15 of the 18 cars will qualify for Hyperpole 1, meaning only three will be eliminated. This could affect Peugeot, which finished at the back of the grid in Free Practice 1. In LMP2 and LMGT3, there will also be 15 qualified crews. Q1 will be driven by Bronze drivers in LMGT3 and LMP2 Pro-Am, while in LMP2 it will be the Silver drivers who start.
