The reigning winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring with Porsche Penske Motorsport will be at the wheel of the No. 30 Oreca 07 for the French team Duqueine. He will be partnered with Doriane Pin, recently appointed development driver for Peugeot en WEC, and to Richard Verschoor, former pilot of Formula 2The Lyon native replaces Bronze driver Giorgio Roda in this trio, despite Roda being slated to compete in the European Le Mans Series season. Consequently, the crew will race in LMP2 and not LMP2 Pro/Am at Le Mans.
Julien Andlauer has competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans eight times in his career, with his best result being a victory on his very first appearance in 2018 in the GTE Am category, driving a Porsche 911 RSR for Dempsey-Proton Racing alongside Matt Campbell and Christian Ried. At the age of 18, he made motorsport history by becoming the youngest winner of the Le Mans classic.
The trio Doriane Pin, Julien Andlauer and Richard Verschoor will certainly be one to watch in Sarthe.
