Porsche, alone against everyone at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Announced as the big favorite, the Stuttgart manufacturer was disappointed due to a few errors and a competition which had hidden its game well. A defeat which is difficult to pass in view of the comments and insinuations towards the 963 throughout the week.

Before seeing the Prancing Horse Maranello triumphing for the second year in a row, it was that of Stuttgart which was on the lips of most of the players in the paddock. Given the start of the season Porsche, some agreed that the Stuttgart firm had a path ahead of it to triumph, seven years after its last overall victory. It must be said that the results of the first rounds were to his advantage, notably thanks to the No. 6 of Kévin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and André Lotterer.
