The Charles Pozzi company thus paid tribute to the success of the Classic Ferrari for sale Hypercar #83, winner of the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans and entered by AF Corse. At its site in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, this was an opportunity to commemorate a series of historic achievements: the first victory of a yellow Ferrari at Le Mans and of a private team in 29 years, but also the first successes at Le Mans of a Chinese driver, Yifei Ye and a Polish driver, Robert Kubica.
Head ofEndurance and Corsica Clienti at Ferrari, Antonello Coletta was keen to underline the significance of this success. “ This third Le Mans victory, following those of 2023 and 2024 achieved with the manufacturer's Hypercars, numbers 50 and 51, is the first in thirty years for a private team, not fielded by a factory. It is also the very first victory for a Chinese driver and a Polish driver. »
Eric Neubauer, president of Charles Pozzi, confides that he has experienced a dream ". He pursues : " As a child, when I was seven years old, I discovered the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This legendary race has always fascinated me. Years later, winning with our car is beyond imagination. »
The emotion remained intact for the crew of the Ferrari #83
The crew also remains deeply moved by their victory, which Yifei Ye remembers as " the best moment of his life ". He specifies : " The car was fantastic. We were able to fight for the win right from the start. Winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ferrari is something truly unique, especially after last year's disappointment. »
Phil Hanson, for his part, remembers the tension of the final moments. The last few laps seemed endless. It wasn't until the 499P crossed the finish line that I realized we had actually won. Le Mans never forgives, right down to the last meter. "He also points out that the car was clearly designed to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans."
Robert Kubica, for his part, claims to have taken his revenge on the bitter disappointment of 2021. Winning Le Mans is a unique feeling. Since the 2021 edition, where I lost the victory on the last lap, this race has become an obsession. Today, it's a revenge and a dream come true. »
