From the top of the grid to an anonymous finish: Cadillac, upside down at Le Mans

Top-notch crews, proven equipment and thunderous lap speed: the Cadillacs were at the top of the bill even before the start. The promises made by Sébastien Bourdais during testing were unfortunately followed by no effect in the race.

Impossible to know at this precise moment, but the eagerness of the photographers around the stand of the Cadillac V-Series.R n°3, Thursday evening at the Hyperpole, alone sums up the false route that joyfully the French public and the followers of 24 Hours of Le Mans. While Sébastien Bourdais had quite easily recorded the best provisional time, the appearance of a red flag 7 minutes from the end of the session put on hold this quest for a second pole for Manceau after 2010.
