Sébastien Bourdais does not part with his father Patrick Bourdais in the Cadillac stand on this Wednesday of qualifying tests at Le Mans. The Sarthois watched the last moments of the session with his family, until Kamui Kobayashi (Toyota) does not result in a red flag with an exit from the track at the end of the turns Porsche. A session stoppage which allowed Bourdais to keep his 2nd best time, and therefore to be qualified for the Hyperpole (scheduled for Thursday at 20 p.m.).

Sébastien Bourdais, who shares his Cadillac V-Series.R with Scott Dixon and Renger van der Zande, also had a criticism to make of the slower, hazardous-driving cars.
“I only had one chance to set a good time, and then there was traffic everywhere, with cars taking risks and ruining my lap. We will see what happens to the Hyperpole. We don't know what will happen with the track conditions. But today is a good place to start. We made some changes after the afternoon test and the car felt really good. »
