The H24EVO is revealed with unprecedented performances for a hydrogen

We had already seen it thanks to 3D renderings in the fall of 2023. But the spectators present at the Hydrogène village in the paddock of the 24 Hours of Mans this Wednesday, June 12, have the privilege of seeing a preview of the model of the H24EVO, the new hydrogen prototype embodying the eponymous category.
The vehicle was presented under the gaze of development drivers Stéphane Richelmi and Adrien Tambay, as well as Pierre Fillon and Jean-Michel Bouresche. The former Japanese pilot Kazuki Nakajima, designated Grand Marshall of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024, also seemed very intrigued by the futuristic curves of the car. The Nippon is a connoisseur, since he is also working on his own hydrogen car, the GR H2.

The H24EVO demonstrates a new step for MissionH24: aligning a hydrogen electric prototype capable of competing with conventional thermal cars. Hydrogen will not be on the track, it will compete on the track. »

The stated objective is to carry out the first run during the first quarter of 2025. No competitive commitment has yet been mentioned.
