The Vaillante 13 is at the start with Tower Motorsports

The Tower Motorsports Oreca entered by the TDS structure takes on a livery and a racing number dear to fans of Michel Vaillant.

We could not have the Centenary edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans without the blue-white-red colors of Vaillante! Next June, car number 13 will be at the start of the Le Mans event, entered by the Tower Motorsports team in partnership with TDS Racing.

The Canadian team, invited to Le Mans thanks to the partnership between the ACO and theIMSA, will be at the start in the LM P2 Pro/Am category with a great trio: John Farano, Ricky Taylor and René Rast.

John Farano, amateur driver of the crew, comes off a victorious season in IMSA with a championship title in the LM P2 category. Involved in an accident during the fourth round of the IMSA season, held in Monterey on the Laguna Seca circuit, Farano was taken to hospital. The team shared reassuring news from its driver. “ John is in good spirits and will head out quickly to join his home and family. Tower Motorsports and John Farano would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the circuit's AMR medical team and the Natividad Hospital staff for their incredible work and loving care. We would also like to thank IMSA for their prompt and adequate assistance after the accident. »

After a virtual presentation, the real livery of the car has just been presented. A nod to the animated series CARS offers a unique meeting between Michel Vaillant and Lightning McQueen.
