Ferrari won the Sarthe classic for the third year in a row. After a soporific edition, the Prancing Horse extended its territorial dominance by winning with its third steed. A highly symbolic victory on several levels.

As if on parade from the end of Saturday afternoon, the three Ferrari 499P in the lead left the journalists wondering as the funfair was in full swing around the Sarthe track. At Ferrari "factory", the numbers 50 (Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, Nicklas Nielsen) and 51 (Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi) had the honors of the podium, in 2024 and 2023. As I have been saying from the beginning, the BoP is a bonus for mediocrity, namely favoring the bad while penalizing the good, all this to create a spectacle to the detriment of sport!

This championship is a complete hypocrisy. Ferrari hides its true performance in testing and performs brilliantly in races. The competition is skewed, and the BOP balances nothing out. Statements from other drivers (Porsche and Cadillac) have rightly denounced this.
