The kickoff of the festivities for 24 Hours of Le Mans was given last week! After the weigh-in in the city center of Le Mans, the teams were able to hit the Sarthe circuit for the first official runs, with the Test Day taking place on Sunday. The opportunity to see the all-new Hypercars test the waters for the first time, and in particular the Peugeot 9X8.
The French manufacturer returns to Le Mans twelve years after its last participation, in 2011. The two 9X8s, adorned with an “Art-Car” livery, were able to complete more than a hundred laps in total, despite an electrical problem occurred on No. 93. The best lap at Peugeot was achieved in 3'30″427, less than a second behind the Ferrari n ° 50.
