After a remarkable first season in European Le Mans Series, Jamie Chadwick will continue her adventure in the discipline with IDEC SPORT in 2026. The British driver will take the wheel of the No. 18 Oreca entered in LMP2.

She will now share her car with Valerio Rinicella, who will be discovering the category after securing his first LMP2 title in the ALMS (2024-2025), and Laurents Hörr, champion ofELMS in 2021 in LMP3.

« Last season was incredible. recalls the 27-year-old pilot. We were able to fight for the title in our very first year and continue this adventure with IDEC SPORT. The support of Genesis Magma Racing through the Trajectory Program gives us a real boost. We have built a solid foundation and I am convinced that we can once again fight at the front in 2026. »

Last season, Chadwick's crew finished third in the championship, totaling 90 points. Partnered with Frenchman Mathys Jaubert and Spaniard Daniel Juncadella, her first ELMS campaign was marked by three victories, achieved in Barcelona, Le Castellet, and Silverstone, in front of her home crowd. She thus became the first female driver in the history of the sport to win an overall race.

Alongside her ELMS program, Chadwick will continue her journey with Genesis Magma Racing's Trajectory program. The British driver notably participated in testing the GMR-001 Hypercar last November and will also serve as a reserve and test driver for the manufacturer in the World Endurance Championship this season. Her former teammates, Daniel Juncadella and Mathys Jaubert, have been announced as full-time drivers for the Genesis program.

The 2026 European Le Mans Series season will consist of six rounds, held on the same circuits as last year: Barcelona, Le Castellet, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Silverstone, and Portimão. It will begin with the Prologue, scheduled for April 6 and 7 at the Barcelona circuit, before the official start, planned for April 12 on the same track.
