There will therefore be 21 LM P2, the premier category of theELMS, during the 2025 season, including 7 LM P2 Pro/Am. The reigning champion team, AO by TF, is moving to Pro/Am with PJ Hyett as its first driver. Among the surprises on this first list of entries, we find Jamie Chadwick with IDEC Sport. The British driver, triple champion of the W Series women's championship (which disappeared at the end of 2022) and now a driver in Indy NXT, will make her Endurance debut aboard the Oreca 07 n°18. A recruitment far from trivial since IDEC Sport is one of the teams that could partner with Hyundai for the arrival of the Korean manufacturer in WEC via its Genesis brand. The French team will also enter two prototypes, the second being occupied by Paul Lafargue.
COOL Racing – which becomes CLX Motorsport – will also field two cars in LM P2: the CLX Pure Rxcing #37 will be driven by WEC LMGT3 world champion Aliaksandr Malykhin, while the second car, #47, will be driven by Manuel Espirito Santo. The winners of the 24 2023 Hours of Le Mans, Inter Europol Competition, return with two cars, while Panis Racing will enter a single car, under the VDS Panis Racing banner.
In the other categories, there will be 10 LM P3s – including 8 Ligier, a Duqueine and the return of Ginetta in prototype – and 13 LMGT3s with six manufacturers: Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche et Aston MartinNote the return to Europe of Lilou Wadoux, who will drive the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari n°50 with Riccardo Agostini and Custodio Toledo.
