ELMS – JOTA penalized, Greaves winner

Winner under the checkered flag at Paul Ricard, the JOTA Sport team lost its victory after a time penalty inflicted for exceeding the maximum running time by Filipe Albuquerque. Greaves Motorsport inherits the victory.

Le JOTA Sport by Simon Dolan will not have been able to celebrate for long his second consecutive success of the year in the European Le Mans Series, after dominating the 4 Hours of Castellet on the Paul Ricard track in Var.

The British team lost their victory, after the 45″ penalty imposed on the Dolan trio? Tincknell? Albuquerque, the latter having exceeded by 1'57" the maximum 90 minutes of driving authorized per driver by the regulations.

If JOTA Sport finally falls back to third position, this sanction delights the Greaves Motorsport by Jon Lancaster? Gary Hirsch? Björn Wirdheim, declared winners on their Gibson 015S. AF Racing moved up to second place with the BR 01 of Kirill Ladygin, Victor Shaytar and Mikhail Aleshin.
