If some teams modify their crews in view of the 2025 season in Endurance, General Motors is reorganizing internally at the end of 2024. The American group has decided to restructure its competition department for 2025, with two notable changes.

First, Laura Wontrop Klauser will leave her position as GM Motorsports Manager at the end of the current season. The American took on the role in 2021 and will step down after the 8 Hours of Bahrain, which will take place this weekend (October 31 – November 2). She will be replaced by Keely Bosn, who will therefore take charge of Cadillac's Endurance program, both in WEC or IMSALaura Wontrop Klauser will remain within the GM Group as Head of Group Engineering in the Global Hardware Systems and Integration department.

Another major departure is that of Christie Bagne, head of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R program, who will also leave her position at the end of the season and will be replaced by Jessica Dane, who is none other than the daughter of Roland Dane, former owner of Triple Eight Race Engineering in Australia. Christie Bagne will be in charge of corporate strategy as a senior analyst at General Motors.

“Motorsports is a platform to hone engineering and leadership skills in a highly competitive racing environment, indicates the press release sent by GM. Rotating team members across production and corporate programs is part of our core mission of 'Why we race.' Experience gained through motorsports programs helps enrich team members' careers and make GM a stronger company."
