A significant chapter is closing at BMW M Motorsport. The Bavarian manufacturer announced on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the end of its collaboration with Jesse Krohn at the conclusion of the 2025 season. After twelve years with the brand, the Finnish driver is preparing to take on a new challenge. new challenges "At the dawn of the 2026 financial year."

Aged 35, Jesse Krohn joined BMW in 2014 through the Junior program, before becoming a full-fledged factory driver in 2018. That same year, he joined BMW M Team RLL. IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, in the GTLM category. A significant period, crowned by a prestigious victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2020, driving the BMW M8 GTE.
After two seasons primarily dedicated to GT endurance programs, Krohn returned to a full-time role with RLL in 2024, this time in GTP, driving the BMW M Hybrid V8. He distinguished himself there notably with a victory in the Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis, alongside Philipp Eng.
Alongside his North American commitments, the Finn has extensively represented BMW on the international stage: in ADAC GT Masters, in Asian Le Mans Series which he won in the GT category during the 2017-2018 season with FIST Team AAI, and also in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Krohn has also distinguished himself on several occasions at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, winning the 2025 edition with ROWE Racing, alongside Augusto Farfus, Raffaele Marciello and Kelvin van der Linde, driving the BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
Krohn has completed over 200 races with BMW.
In a farewell message published by BMW, Jesse Krohn looked back emotionally on this long chapter of his career. It was a long and successful period with BMW M Motorsport, and I am very grateful for all the opportunities I was given. BMW allowed me to become a professional driver and participate in most of its major programs after my victory in the Junior Programme in 2014. »
The Finnish driver boasts over 200 races contested under the BMW banner worldwide. All good things must come to an end, but exciting new challenges await me. I thank all the teams, my teammates, and everyone at BMW M Motorsport. I wish you all the best for 2026. We'll meet again on the track. »

Jesse Krohn's departure comes as BMW has confirmed the arrival of Jordan Pepper in its official roster for the 2026 season, a sign of a strategic renewal of the German manufacturer's roster.
