Oreca's financial results in 2023 demonstrate remarkable progress for the Group and a solid foundation at the local, national and international levels with historic volume turnover of 140 million euros, significant growth compared to in previous years. This was accompanied and built around strong investments including more than 12 million euros for its new Technocentre which will be inaugurated in 2024 and a sharp increase in the workforce of more than 100 people bringing the Oreca Group workforce to 340 people. .

The year 2023 was also rich in projects for the Oreca manufacturer branch, notably with the construction of more than 100 cars and very good victories in different categories (24 Hours of Daytona with the Acura ARX-06 in GTP, 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Oreca 07 in LM P2, 24 Hours of Nürburgring with the Ferrai 296 in GT3).

Since 2022, the engine department of the Oreca Group has equipped itself with a “hydrogen test bench” and has embarked on the development of a H₂ combustion competition engine project: a first in France and evocative of the ambitions of the Oreca Group and its enthusiasm to meet the challenges of tomorrow's motorsport.

« In 2023, Oreca has transcended the boundaries of innovation through large-scale projects, declares Hugues de Chaunac, President of the Oreca Group. Memorable celebrations of the Group’s 50th anniversary at the advent of the semi-industrial era alongside Ferrari, each stage marks a new dimension of success and excellence. It is a real source of pride and great recognition of all the work and dedication of the teams that contributed to these exceptional achievements. »

A new Oreca Technocenter in 2024

To support the expansion of the Group's activities and underline its ambition to become one of the major players in motorsport while remaining at the forefront of innovation and technological excellence, Oreca is investing in a new state-of-the-art Technocentre of modernity. This new 8 m² building will convey all of the company's values and its identity while allowing us to understand the future and the changes in motorsport.

« In 2023, the group's overall results represent real satisfaction, on the one hand thanks to the financial results which allow us to invest but above all because it is the fruit of a strategy respecting our heritage while projecting itself into modernity, declares Raphaël de Chaunac, Managing Director of the Oreca Group. Our roadmap for 2024 and the years that follow is quite clear: we will do everything to continue to win races at the highest level and continue our development around the motorsport, automobile and sport markets in general by relying even more on our diversification businesses. »

Beyond motorsport, the keys to the expansion of the Var brand also lie in its ability to diversify, notably through Oreca Events, its events agency, or Oreca Retail, its distribution branch.

Let's wish the Oreca Group as good a year 2024 as the one experienced in 2023. Starting with a new victory for the Acura ARX-06 during the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 27-28)?
