6H of Fuji – EL1: Porsche ahead of Toyota and Ferrari

  • The on-track activity of the 6 Hours of Fuji began this Friday morning with Free Practice 1. At the end of this first hour and a half of driving, it was the Porsche 963 n°6 of Kévin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and André Lotterer which proved to be the fastest with a time of 1:30.561.
  • La Toyota n ° 8 of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, Ryo Hirakawa took second place just 0.010 seconds off the fastest time.
  • The podium of this first Free Practice session of the day is completed by the Ferrari 499P No. 50 of Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina. The same order is respected for the rest of the top 6 with the Porsche No. 5, the Toyota No. 7 and the Ferrari No. 83, victorious in Austin (Texas).
  • French manufacturers follow with the Peugeot n ° 94 of Loïc duval, Paul di Resta and Stoffel Vandoorne in front of theAlpine n°35 by Charles Milesi, Ferdinand Habsburg and Jules Gounon, replacing Paul-Loup Chatin this weekend.
