As at Fuji, Aston Martin started this weekend's Bahrain 8 Hours at full throttle. Leading FP1 and then second in FP2, the No. 009 Valkyrie showed good pace, although this is only indicative at this stage. Similarly, Peugeot has shown itself again, as the 9X8 #93 in this instance finished third in FP2, notably ahead of the Porsche n°6 and the Ferrari No. 51. Battling for the title, the two German and Italian manufacturers will be vying for a favorable starting position this Friday. Besides Free Practice 3, which will open the day in Bahrain, qualifying followed by Hyperpole will determine which team will secure the final pole position of this season. WEC.
