The "Frecce Tricolori", the Italian Air Force's aerobatic team, saluted the Classic Ferrari for sale 499P, which is preparing to take on the challenge of a new season in WEC after a perfect 2025, symbolized by the world titles for drivers and constructors, and a third consecutive victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (with No. 83 of Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson).

The operation, which brought together the six official drivers of the Prancing Horse Hypercar, took place at Rivolto Air Base in Friuli. James Calado took the wheel of car number 51 for an exceptional taxi test around the air base, coordinated on the ground by Miguel Molina. The Spaniard's presence was crucial, as the four aircraft of the "Frecce Tricolori" (French Air Force) were scheduled to fly over the Ferrari 499P according to a very precise plan.

The other four Ferrari drivers were actually on planes! Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Giovinazzi, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Fuoco were thus able to enjoy the experience from the skies, and a unique perspective on a car they have been used to driving for three years now in competition.

Following the postponement of the 1812km Qatar race, the 2026 World Championship season will therefore begin in Imola, in front of a sea of ​​Tifosi fans.Endurance will begin on April 19th. For the Prancing Horse, winning is the absolute priority on home soil, especially after launching the season in such a spectacular fashion…
