Ferrari confirms the driver lineups for its official 499P, Ye remains with AF Corse

Classic Ferrari for sale has confirmed the composition of its crews for the 499Ps officially entered in the top Hypercar category of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship. Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen will once again share the wheel of the No. 50 499P, while Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi will drive the No. 51 to defend their world title won at the 8 Hours of Bahrain.

The 2026 season, which will begin at Losail with the 1812 km Qatar Grand Prix, the opening round of the World Championship on March 28, will also feature Yifei Ye. For the third consecutive year, he will drive the #83 499P for the private AF Corse team, sporting the Giallo Modena livery. The team will announce the other two drivers for the customer Hypercar at a later date.

The decision by the Maranello-based manufacturer shows a clear desire for stability, retaining the six drivers who have been involved in the top category since the 499P's competitive debut in 2023. During the 2025 season, which ended in Bahrain on November 8, the two factory crews contributed to Ferrari's World Constructors' Championship victory, bringing back to Maranello a world endurance title that had not been won since 1972. Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi also celebrated the drivers' world title.

Ye, partnered with Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025. The trio finished second in the World Drivers' Championship with AF Corse, which also secured the FIA ​​Hypercar World Cup for Teams. Fuoco, Molina, and Nielsen finished third in the standings.
