Ford completes its Hypercar lineup with Blomqvist, Campbell and Yelloly

Ford took advantage of its presence at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans to announce the final three drivers who will pilot its Hypercar in 2027. They are Tom Blomqvist, Matt Campbell and Nick Yelloly.

Ford Racing has its full roster ready for its debut in the Hypercar category of the World Championship.Endurance in 2027. After already announcing Sebastian Priaulx, Mike Rockenfeller and Logan sargeantThe American manufacturer has revealed the names of its other drivers for its LMDh series. The Blue Oval is relying on experience to complete its lineup, having decided to recruit Matt Campbell, Tom Blomqvist, and Nick Yelloly. These three recruits come from two different manufacturers: Porsche for the first one named, Acura for the other two.

They have all demonstrated their ability to extract maximum performance from entirely new platforms and provide the precise technical feedback needed to fine-tune our in-house developed control systems. »

Ford Racing also confirmed that the track testing program will begin in August at several circuits across Europe. This phase will be dedicated to evaluating performance, reliability, hybrid system integration, and aerodynamic validation under conditions replicating the demands of the WEC and its flagship event, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Further information regarding the final allocation of crews and the official name of the car will be revealed at a later date.
