A major chapter in Stellantis' history will close on January 31st. Having arrived at Peugeot In 1986, Jean-Marc Finot retired from the world of motorsport and left his position. Having first joined Peugeot Sport in 1998, Olivier Jansonnie has over 25 years of experience in motorsport, having worked on LMP1 and Hypercar projects. DTM, WRC, WRX and Rally-Raid. Having also worked at Mitsubishi and BMW, the Frenchman returned to the Lion brand in 2016 as technical director and director of automotive projects. Since 2020, he had been promoted to technical director of the 9X8 project and team principal.
At Stellantis Motorsport, Jansonnie will be in charge of the WEC project, as well as the Formula E Citroën is making its debut this season with Jean-Éric Vergne and Nick Cassidy, while DS continues its partnership with Penske. Stellantis is also involved in rallying, where Lancia will make its return in 2026.
