Never Lone Star Le Mans had never been scheduled for such a hot time of year. Until now, the American event of the WEC took place in mid-September or February for its last appearance on the calendar, in 2020.

This year, the 6 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas takes place on September 1st. Since the beginning of the weekend, the mercury has not dropped below 30 degrees and it should be the same for the race on Sunday. In addition to a bumpy track, the drivers will have to face very high temperatures
