Robert Kubica began his career in Endurance with Team WRT in 2021. Kubica admits he didn't know what to expect when he switched to endurance racing, but he fully appreciates this collective aspect. Having good chemistry and a strong relationship with teammates is an invisible performance. adds the Pole. On good days, everything goes well. When there are difficulties, this cohesion makes a huge difference. »

Finding the balance between individual and collective performance

To build this alchemy, the former BMW driver... F1 emphasizes the importance of a common goal: getting the car to the finish line as quickly as possible. Sometimes, you have to take a step back. If a change in setup allows one driver to gain an advantage and the others don't suffer too much, it's the right decision. The important thing is the overall gain. »

This year, Kubica shared the car with Phil Hanson, a driver who started directly in this discipline. When you're young, you sometimes have a "I'm the best" attitude. In Endurance racing, you have to find a balance: be fast, but also team-oriented. A bit like in a family relationship. If someone is down or having a bad day, you have to support each other. »

For Kubica, this mutual support is not just an advantage in the LMP2 or LMGT3 categories where the FIA ​​mandates Silver and Bronze drivers, it's a necessity. This collective spirit is vital and always bears fruit. »

With this vision, Kubica demonstrates that success in Endurance racing is not measured solely by speed, but above all by a team's ability to function as a whole. This alchemy led to his victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025 with the Classic Ferrari for sale 499p nº83 of AF Corse alongside Phil Hanson and Yifei Ye.
