Stellantis Motorsport has officially announced the signing of an agreement with Dynisma Ltd for the supply of its driving simulator. The DMG-1, an industry benchmark in terms of realism and responsiveness, will be installed at the Versailles technical center in the first quarter of 2026 and will be used to develop the group's programs in the World Rally Championship.Endurance (WEC) and in the World Championship of Formula E.

Renowned for its ultra-low latency and wide bandwidth, the DMG-1 will also allow engineers and drivers to refine vehicle development, prepare for races more efficiently, and optimize the overall performance of hybrid and electric projects.

“Simulation is a fundamental tool in modern motorsport, particularly in championships where track time is very limited and development cycles are very rapid,” confides Jean-Marc Finot, director of Stellantis Motorsport. The DMG-1 will offer our teams a highly correlated and exceptionally reliable environment to prepare our drivers and advance our engineering programs in both WEC and Formula E. Dynasma is a leader in its field. We are delighted to formalize this partnership ahead of the 2026 season.

Active in the WEC and Formula E, Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne will play a key role in the simulator's operational phase. He is therefore delighted by this news: “Today, preparation relies heavily on the simulator. The level of realism we achieve makes a real difference in how we exploit performance once we're on the track.” explains the pilot. The DMG-1 is incredibly responsive, giving us immediate feedback on handling, grip, weight transfer, and energy management. These are crucial parameters in both WEC and Formula E.

Thanks to this tool, the Stellantis Motorsport teams will be able to work in advance on setup, tire management, and race scenarios. The equipment will allow them to arrive at each race better prepared and closer to the limits from the very first laps.
