The victory of the No. 81 car driven by Charlie Eastwood, Rui Andrade, and Tom Van Rompuy at Fuji has given Corvette and TF Sport a boost. The two entities announced on Monday the extension of their partnership for two more seasons. Beginning in 2024, the partnership led to a double podium finish in Bahrain at the end of last season before launching a promising 2025 campaign.
This was crowned by a victory at Fuji, but also by podium finishes at Le Mans (3rd) and Brazil (2nd) for car #81, while car #33 had triumphed in the opening round in Bahrain following an intense battle between Dani Juncadella and the McLaren No. 59, driven by Grégoire Saucy at the end of the race.
While the Corvettes occupy 3rd (No. 81) and 4th (No. 33) positions in the GT3 standings, TF Sport will continue to run the Z06 GT3.R for the next two years in WECbut also ELMSwhere American GT cars shone, winning both the Drivers' and Teams' titles after two victories at the 4 Hours of Imola and the 4 Hours of Portimão. The partnership will also extend to Asia. Le Mans Series (ALMS), where two Z06 GT3.Rs will be entered.

A successful partnership
“We are very proud and delighted that our collaboration with TF Sport continues,” Jessica Dane, director of the Corvette Racing program, is delighted. It is a great source of satisfaction for Corvette Racing and Chevrolet to see the team progress and win numerous championships with its Corvettes this year. TF Sport is a perfect example of a customer team fully committed to this platform and program. We look forward to continuing this collaboration with Tom (Ferrier, owner of TF Sport) and his team.
“Exactly one year ago in Bahrain, we achieved our first podium finishes with the Corvette Z06 GT3.R,”I remember Tom Ferrier. A year later, we are European champions, Le Mans finalists, and double WEC winners, with a real chance of winning the World Championship. All of this is down to the hard work and consistent efforts of everyone at Corvette Racing and Pratt Miller Motorsports, as well as our own team at TF. I am delighted to extend this partnership for the next two years and, I hope, for many more. It is a pleasure to work with such talented and motivated people.
Before the end of the season, there is one last race in Bahrain this weekend for TF Sport to try to climb onto another podium, or even another victory, in order to celebrate the extension of a fruitful partnership in style.
