All three cars were penalized for the same offense, namely overtaking the safety car after 3 hours and 40 minutes of racing, without prior authorization from race control. Peugeot No. 94 and the Ferrari #50 and #51 were given a drive-through penalty, which was converted into added time at the end of the race, as the penalty was issued after the checkered flag.
This added 53 seconds to the time of all three cars, which had an impact on the final standings of the 6 Hours of Fuji. Eleventh and fifteenth at the finish, the Ferraris ultimately lost only a small amount, with the No. 50 dropping to twelfth and the No. 51 remaining fifteenth. With neither car scoring any points, the Prancing Horse did not lose any championship points.
For Peugeot, on the other hand, while the second place of the n°93 is not worried, the sister car simply loses its fifth position, to slip to tenth place. Malthe Jakobsen, Stoffel Vandoorne and Loïc duval therefore only bring back one point from Fuji. Any profit for Aston Martin, which reached the top 5 in the Hypercar category for the first time in its history, with the No. 009 of Marco Sørensen and Alex Riberas. In the championship, Peugeot lost sixth place to BMW, whose No. 20 gained a position in the race classification, ultimately moving up to eighth.

Almost completely wrong! The 94 'slips' to 9th place (2 points) and the N°50 'climbs' to 10th (1 point) since the 83, 9th overall and the 99, 11th overall, are transparent in the constructors' championship.
