The list of entrants for this first round of the 2025 season holds no surprises compared to the various names already known and announced by the various teams. Kévin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor will thus put their title back on the line at the wheel of the Porsche n°6, but will this time be accompanied by Matt Campbell. The second official Porsche, the n°5, will see the debut of Julien Andlauer, accompanied by Mathieu Jaminet and Michael Christensen.
The main attraction of this first race of the year will obviously be the presence of the two Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH. The English prototype, the only non-hybrid car entered in the Hypercar category, will make its competition debut with Harry Tincknell, Tom Gamble and Ross Gunn in the No. 007, as well as Marco Sorensen, Alex Riberas and Roman De Angelis in the No. 009.
The 1812 km of Qatar will also mark the grand debut of Kevin Magnussen in Hypercar, with BMW.
