In the top category, the battle looks more open than ever despite Porsche's withdrawal. Ferrari, crowned world champion and still undefeated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P, will be the target of all contenders. AlpineAston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Genesis, Peugeot and Toyota will field their Hypercars with a single objective: to end the dominance of the Prancing Horse, which swept all the titles in 2025 after a third completely mastered campaign.

Manthey aims for a treble in LMGT3

In LMGT3, Manthey continues to be the undisputed benchmark. Since the introduction of the Pro/Am category in 2024, the German team has secured both titles thanks to its perfectly executed Porsche 911 GT3 Rs. The team will repeat its success in 2026 with two new GT3 cars, clearly determined to achieve a third consecutive championship.

The task ahead is more complex, however, given the significantly tighter competition. Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Lexus, McLaren, and Mercedes-AMG have all secured at least one podium finish in 2025, demonstrating an extremely high overall level of competition. The battle for the LMGT3 crown therefore promises to be particularly intense. Several changes are worth noting in LMGT3: Garage 59 will replace United Autosports in running the McLaren 720S, Heart of Racing will field a second Aston Martin Vantage in place of Racing Spirit of Léman, while the Iron Dames will be discontinued in favor of a second car for Manthey.
