The French are popular in Belgium. A year ago, Julien Andlauer brought the spectators to their feet and drew applause in the press room at Spa-Francorchamps. The French hopeful made some fine overtaking moves on the descent to Eau Rouge with his Porsche 963. Twelve months later, Frédéric Makowiecki also caused a stir among the public at the 6 Hours of Spa. Barely arrived
