An unexpected Top 5 for Alpine in Texas: no trials, no problems!

The result exceeded all expectations, with a double points finish 650 kilometers east of a Texan city called… Alpine. And this, without having driven a single minute at COTA before Lone Star Le Mans.

Humility, learning and measured ambitions, these are the words that could characterize the state of mind of the team with the arrowed A as it entered the paddock of the Circuit of the Americas. When it was time to discover the American round, the Blues could legitimately expect to suffer against manufacturers who had all filed down the Texan asphalt during the two test sessions organized at the end of July. The task therefore seemed arduous.
