In LMGT3, it was the Iron Dames who set the best time thanks to the local heroine: Sarah Bovy. The Belgian driver managed to take pole position with her Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2. She is ahead of the #46 BMW WRT by 0″383. This is the first pole position for the women's crew since the 8 Hours of Bahrain in 2023 (November 4-5).
Who better to take pole at Spa than Sarah Bovy? The local boy was stunning and didn't let himself be perturbed by the red flag caused the Porsche n°92, in the middle of the session. A pole position which obviously amazes the Belgian driver.
“It's an incredible feeling, it's my first pole at Spa, I've never been on the front row, she rejoices. When I was on my exit lap, I took my time to look at the stands, they were full, it was clearly an added motivation. As a Belgian, and a motorsport fan, I am happy with what we have achieved today. I must say that I am so proud to be Belgian, it is truly a special event for me to be here, to share this passion with all the fans present here and the people without whom this race could not take place. »

Objective victory!
Sarah Bovy did not mince her words after achieving pole position. Only part of the way has been done and everything remains to be done for the race. The Iron Dames are aiming for a big result in Belgium: “It's very good to have taken pole, I'm very happy with the work of my team and my teammates, the car that the team gave me was very competitive, but it's only the beginning . I want to keep this position until tomorrow evening. »
