Nicky Castburg joins TF Sport for the WEC 2026

Unsurprisingly, the British team is calling upon two official Corvette drivers to pilot the Z06 LMGT3.Rs, bearing numbers 33 and 34, next season. Charlie Eastwood, who has also become one of Cadillac's simulator drivers in Formula 1, returns for a new season with TF Sport, in channel 34, after a season notably crowned by a third place in the 24 Hours of Le MansThis machine will now be entered under the Racing Team Turkey by TF banner.

"I can't wait to return to the WEC for a third year with Corvette », says the Northern Irish driver, winner at Le Mans in 2020. “Last year we made great progress, with a podium finish at Le Mans and a chance to win the championship in the final race: it was really positive progress. Now we need to continue this momentum. The team is improving, working hard to make the lineup as strong as possible and give us the best chance of winning another World Endurance Championship for Corvette and Chevrolet.”

In the #33 car, Corvette calls upon Dutch driver Nicky Catsburg, a Platinum-rated driver. Catsburg, who has won GT races at the 24 Hours of Daytona, Le Mans, the Nürburgring, and Spa, joins TF Sport in the WEC in addition to his commitment in IMSA, on behalf of the official Corvette team.

“I’m very excited to be joining TF Sport for the 2026 FIA WEC season. I’ve raced against them many times and they’ve always been very tough opponents. I love the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, so I’m really looking forward to what promises to be a very busy 2026!”

The other drivers making up the two TF Sport crews for the 2026 WEC will be announced at a later date.
